Over 10,000 students participated in the Maharashtra Talent Search Examination, which was held under the Dattak Wadgaon Yojana to help rural students to achieve success in competitive exams. The Police Commissionerate and Tanwani Gyan Bhawan jointly conducted the exam for students of industrial sector.
Police commissioner Sanjay Kumar has adopted Wadgaon Kolhati and implemented many projects successfully. The exam was conducted so that students are made aware of competitive exams and how to succeed at them. Rural students have a lot of potential, but do not get enough exposure as compared to urban students. Sometimes this cause an inferiority complex among rural students. The exam was conducted at various centres in Bajajnagar. Over 10,000 students from 27 schools in Waluj appeared for it.
